DHS Drama Department Presents Out On A Limb, A Night of Edgy Adult
Comedy. Directed by Dillard Brown; Production Manager Laura Lavernia.
Recorded May 11 at the Richard Brunelle Performing Arts Theatre by Davis
Ruth reads 'A Christmas Pudding,' from her book "The Weight of Gold." The story takes place up in the Gold Hills of California in a mining camp of lonely miners watching the snow and rain. Ben Witt decides to make a home style Christmas Pudding and so the story starts. This is family sharing time with language suitable for all ages and plenty of Holiday Spirit. Merry Christmas!
Ruth reads from Mark Twain's "Roughing It." This is the Thanksgiving Show. We are thankful Twain had a second chance at life. He and friends we caught in a snow storm, and figured they would die. Thank goodness they didn't or "Tom Sawyer," "Huck Finn," and "Roughing It" would have never been written. Thank goodness for all the second chances this Thanksgiving Time.
