DMA tips its hat to Lin Weaver, who has served as studio host intern for DMA’s “In the Studio” series for much of the past year. Lin has a full plate these days, and will not be hosting as much in the future, though she’s not leaving altogether. We thank her for the outstanding job she’s done, producing many segments of In the Studio (you can check those out at https://tinyurl.com/oj8yhnw).
DMA is now looking for a new intern to help out in this arena. Through this three-month, non-paid internship, interns gain hands-on experience and exposure to many aspects of community television production. The Intern will interview guests who have been booked for “In the Studio,” which DMA produces the program in its state-of-the-art HD television studio. The intern gains the experience of working in this studio environment; receives coaching in hosting and on-air presence; and leaves with a professional video reel.
