2020 is an eventful year, and Gloria Partida is about to become mayor of Davis right in the middle of it, in July. She appears on Davisville today as she gets ready to begin her term, and the subjects include the killing of George Floyd in police custody, the difficulty people have talking honestly about racism, and the pandemic, plus the latest Davis development questions, and the job itself.

Strong opening studio segment in which Connie hammers the "We the SHEEPLE" conformist segment of our population who are willing to give up more and more of our freedom and independence for government and corporate protection from any and all risk in life, contrasting those 'sheeple' to our Grandparents and Great Grandparents who would shame them for their sheeplike behavior if they were here today...Followed by Connie's live and provocative interviews with Americans who attended the recent "FREEDOM FEST" event at the California State Capitol.

Throughout the day on May 29, 2020, seniors and their families visited school sites to pick up caps and gowns.  Senior families were encouraged to slowly cruise the town in decorated vehicles. KDRT-LPFM 95.7fm broadcast a special Davis Senior Celebration radio show. 

Residents, parents and fellow students gave waves, tooted horns, and showed support for our seniors! Congratulations to the Class of 2020!
