One-week session in media production for youth ages 10-13.
Learn how to produce a program in DMA's television studio, including storyboarding, operating cameras and sound equipment, and media literacy training. Also get an introduction to the radio booth at KDRT 95.7 FM, DMA's low-power community radio station. The camp runs Monday through Friday, from 9am until noon. Parents are welcome to drop off their kids at 8:45am. If you are signing up online plan to spend a few minutes the first day signing ground rules.
Lastly, by confirming your payment below, as parent/guardian, you affirm, that:
- I understand if I am more than 15 minutes late to the first session of KidsVid Camp without providing reasonable prior notice, that my place may be given to a "stand-by'' student. I will then not be able to attend the camp if the camp is full, since space is strictly limited. I also understand that I must attend all scheduled sessions of the camp. I may be dropped from camp if I miss any session.
- I understand that the camp fee is non-refundable and non-transferable with the following exception: KidsVid Camp refunds or transfers will be granted only if arrangements are made 3 working days priorto the first session of camp. KidsVid Camp refunds, if any, are processed and mailed at the end of the month in which a refund is requested.
