"Out of Africa" was the theme for the 4th Annual Hats Off to Diversity High Tea. Presented by the Tese Foundation on November 4, 2018, at the Davis Veterans Memorial Center.

100% of proceeds of this annual event go towards tuition for girls in Africa and promoting the diversity and literacy for underprivileged youth in the USA.

On November 17, 2018 the community of Davis,CA held a Fire Relief Benefit for the people of Paradise and Butte County who have lost so much to the Camp Fire.

The benefit was held at the Davis Senior Center.
