The 21st Annual City of Davis Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

The celebration consists of the speech, presentations and music from vocalists and bands starting at 10:30 a.m. at the Varsity Theatre, 616 Second St. It is brought to the community by the city of Davis and the Davis Human Relations Commission.  The Rev. Tim Malone, the campus community outreach minister for UC Davis and director of the Broderick Christian Center in West Sacramento, was keynote speaker at the event.
