There are a million stories in our town. Davis Media Access (DMA) helps people tell their stories, to share what’s important & what connects us. We create community and foster free expression using media, support youth media, and provide hands-on training and technical support for various media projects.
We cannot do this work without community support. DMA is a non-profit organization, and our work is made possible by your support and donations. If you like what DMA does, what we stand for and the opportunities we provide, we ask you to please list your name as a supporter. Your support helps us keep these services alive and available to all.
Davis Media Access. Keep the Story Unfolding.
Technology is the vehicle for sharing our ideas with our community and the world, but the substance is the stories themselves. For more than 20 years, DMA has trained community members and provided outlets for sharing information and ideas. DMA remains a place for hands-on learning, creative expression and critically needed media skills building. We operate DCTV Channel 15, Educational Access Channel 17, and KDRT-LP, 95.7 FM.
On local television, radio and the Internet, youth find their voices and community campaigns are launched. Musicians and poets reach out to find an audience, educators find new ways to serve parents and students, and our community life, in all its exuberance, is celebrated and documented.
