He talks in depth about his new book, Raising Caine, the third volume in his Tales of the Terran Republic/Caine Riordan series. Dr. Gannon discusses the political complexities of his future history, as well as the biology of his multiple alien races.

Mr. Lerner talks about his latest novel, InterstellarNet: Enigma, as well as other books in the InterstellarNet series. He discusses his process of writing, and how it has led to several shorter stories, including his Hugo Award nominated "Championship B'tok". Mr. Lerner also talks about the several books he wrote in collaboration with Larry Niven in the Fleet of Worlds series.
