Amador county has been the homeland of Miwok for as long as anyone can remember, and this is a video compilation of the memories of two of the eldest surviving descendants of the Buena Vista Rancheria.

This documentary film, produced by Ya-nah Geary, will feature two Miwok elders. They are members of the Oliver family of Buena Vista Rancheria, and they have taken a stand to preserve and protect it because that is what their elders instilled in them.
