Fast Forward is a monthly half-hour series about the genres of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. It features interviews with professionals in the speculative fiction genres; past guests have included authors, artists, editors, and filmmakers. Most episodes also include a book review and anime or other genre media review.

Fast Forward has been in production for more than 20 years, and has cablecast more than 250 episodes. It is currently shown on public access stations in the greater Washington, DC/Baltimore region, and now is seen on many other stations around the country, thanks to PEGMedia. Episode #287 of Fast Forward: Contemporary Science Fiction features a new interview with award winning author Connie Willis. Mrs. Willis talks about her latest novel, Crosstalk. The book is a romantic comedy, using the trope of telepathy to cause all sorts of havoc in the lives of the main characters.

Mrs. Willis also discusses a recent trip to the Space Telescope Science Institute, where she and other science fiction writers got to talk with the team that handles the Hubble telescope data.

Mr. Testa is a long time radio host and "closet writer" who has written and published a highly successful young adult science fiction series of books, the Galahad series.
