Despite the large number of dollars being poured into America's public education system, businesses are far from satisfied with current job applicants' core skill sets. Employers are frequently suggesting that young employees lack basic spelling grammar, math, and problem thinking techniques. The root of the problem? Today's education is stuck in the needs of yesterday's economy - which focused on preparing students for factory work. In today's fast paced world, children need to learn how to adapt quickly, take initiative, and think on their feet.
