Kid Vid Animation Camp Session Two

For youth ages 10-13.

Learn how to plan and storyboard an animation, record dialogue and effects, and light and create stop-motion animations. The results will air on DCTV and DJUSD.tv. Attendance at all Four sessions is required and prompt attendance is a must.

The workshop runs on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1-5pm.  Note that the workshop does not run on Thursday.

Vivid Imagery with Three Point Lighting, Workshop

Davis Media Access will hold a workshop on Three Point Lighting. This workshop is designed to train volunteers with the video lighting basics. We will show you what it is, how to do it, and how to use it to the best of your ability.

 

This is a free workshop and apart of Davis Media Access ongoing mission to train the public in local community media.

Getting Good Audio with Microphones, Workshop

 

Davis Media Access will hold an Audio Microphone Workshop to train and educate volunteers on our various audio recording equipment and techniques. 

 

 

This is a free workshop and apart of Davis Media Access ongoing mission to train the public in local community media.

 

Volunteers must attend this workshop to gain permission to check out our microphones for your media productions. 

 

 

Kids Video Camp

One-week session in media production for youth ages 10-13.

Learn how to produce a program in DMA's television studio, including storyboarding, operating cameras and sound equipment, and media literacy training. Also get an introduction to the radio booth at KDRT 95.7 FM, DMA's low-power community radio station.  The camp runs Monday through Friday, from 9am until noon.  Parents are welcome to drop off their kids at 8:45am.  If you are signing up online plan to spend a few minutes the first day signing ground rules.
