DaVinci Senior Zahra Baxi, a member of the local Girls Who Code Organization, organized and hosted a 'Women in Tech' event at UC Davis on Saturday, October 19, 2019 which included a keynote speech from LeShelle May and a panel discussion with three other guest speakers that included: Nina Amenta (Chair, Department of Computer Science, UC Davis), Donna Davies, (STEM Adviser and Pre-college Consultant), and Sean Glantz (Computer Science Teacher, Da Vinci Charter Academy).

"Perils For Pedestrians" is a public affairs television series that looks at problems confronting pedestrians in communities like yours, and solutions to those problems from across the United States and around the world. Each 28-minute episode consists of several interviews with advocates, planners, engineers, and public officials, on a broad range of issues of concern to pedestrians. The program occasionally looks at bicyclists, transit, and broader issues of urban design and public health.

A selection of Public Domain cartoons, some of which might contain humor offensive to the viewer, given that these are very old.  Some of the cartoons have been edited to remove outright racist depictions, jokes, etc., however, some offensive content might remain. As humor is subjective, viewer discretion is advised. 

In the current era these are here as much for their educational value (art of cartooning, historical context, etc.) as they might be for entertainment (corny though they may be).
