Painting Journeys - Agate Bridge, Petrified Forest, AZ

This episode is currently not viewable online.

Millions of years ago, when Arizona was covered with forests, a change in climate over the years caused the forest to be covered and the trees to become petrified. One very unique spot in the Petrified Forest is the Agate Bridge. It is a large log that has been reinforced with cement to preserve it from the constant rushing of waters during the flood season. The ever changing beauty of the harsh landscape moved the Artist, Kitty Lynne Klich, to capture Agate Bridge, Petrified Forest, on her canvas.
