The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), is by far the largest and most effective international agency that strives to rescue refugees from conflict zones. The importance of this organization, which won the Nobel Peace Prize---TWICE!!-- is obvious as you will see in their documenting the struggles that refugee women suffer in order to survive.
