United States Bicycling Hall of Fame 2019 Induction Ceremony.

The 33rd Annual U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame's Induction Ceremony, Dinner, and Silent Auction was held on Saturday November 2nd, 2019 in Davis, California at the Activities and Recreation Center at U.C. Davis.

Past Hall of Famers, Olympians, World Champions, other Elite Cyclists and members of the public gathered to honor 2019 Inductees Karen Bliss (Modern Road & Track Competitor), Sean Petty (Contributor to the Sport), and George Banker (Veteran Road & Track Competitor).

The Future of Work Series at UC Davis presents

"Artificial Intelligence or Sophisticated Mimicry: The Business and Ethics of Automated Systems"

Featuring speaker Mark Nitzberg, AI scientist, entrepreneur, and consultant to industry and government.  Currently the Executive Director of the Center for Human Compatible Artificial Intelligence at UC Berkeley, head of strategic outreach for the Berkeley AI Research Lab, and a principal at the Cambrian.ai think tank network.

The Renew Davis Committee held a press conference on Friday, November 8, 2019 in Davis Central Park to kick off its campaign to pass Measure Q. Community Members and Elected Officials came out to show support and answer questions about the upcoming campaign.

Autumn Labbe-Renault hosts Lucas Frerichs, City of Davis Council Member and Valley Clean Energy board member, and Don Saylor,  Yolo County Supervisor and Valley Clean Energy board member, to discuss VCE's first 18 months of operations and its bid to buy PG&E's assets in Yolo County.
