FIX-IT SHOPS: An Endangered Species takes an affectionate look behind the scenes at a neighborhood Fix-it shop, which repairs small appliances. In this timely portrait of economic and environmental sustainability, viewers meet people whose patience and skill contribute to their own community, as well as to the urban ecosystem by reducing waste in landfills.
