Science Fiction Fandom is a series of TV shows showing activities at various Science Fiction Conventions (Cons) that have taken place in the Boston, Massachusetts, USA area.

While shot in Boston the subject matter is universal to Sci Fi fans, mainly panel discussions at conventions ... both fan related (including costuming, books and tv/movies) and science related.

"Sci-Fi Ninja Theatre" is a video "fanzine" of the metro NY area's many horror, Anime, comic con, and science fiction conventions, along with coverage of musical events and tattoo gatherings, and even entering into the underground world of NYC nightlife.

This is the public access show that started them all in the area, having been on the air since the 1990's. Local bands, review and clip of anime and horror films, and interviews with celebrities at these types of events!

Project Censored’s faculty adviser, Nolan Higdon, talks about the current condition of corporate news media and the need for alternative news sources. He describes how Project Censored got started following the Watergate scandal; how they pick stories for their annual report on the 25 most censored news stories and why a non-corporate owned media is important for a fully functioning democracy.

Guest Mary Wood, Faculty Director of the University of Oregon Environmental & Natural Resources Law Program, speaks with us about the use of nature trust law to bring us back from the fossil fuel induced environmental tipping point. She notes that our elected leaders as well as our regulatory agencies have been captured by the corrupting influence of the fossil fuel industries. Now we use he third branch of government to protect the environment.

Our society increasingly is recognizing that the victims of a disaster need support to recover from the trauma associated with the disaster event. Disasters include natural disasters such as severe storms, floods, and wild land fires as well as manmade events such as mas shootings or other acts of violence.  Trauma from disasters can lead to post-traumatic stress disorder and other mental health problems, and can put victims at higher risk of substance abuse.
