Madeline Hamaguchi hosts Merrily DuPree, Co-director of the Hattie Weber Museum. They discussed who Hattie Weber was, the history of how and why a museum was created in her honor, an overview of the permanent exhibits, and an in depth discussion of the current exhibit focusing on 3 Japanese American students from Davis, CA. that were affected by the Executive Order to intern everyone of Japanese descent living in specific areas of Washington, Oregon, and California.

Host Tim Gaffaney talks with Madeline Hamaguchi and Pablo Lopez, members of the Davis Shakespeare Festival. They discussed the structural and cultural changes that have occurred within the company during the 2 years of the pandemic. They talked about how Black Lives Matter affected the theater community, their shift to an inclusive and equitable process, the programs that have evolved from that process including the digital internship program and the Vacancy Arts Collective.

Host Jeff Shaw interviews Erin Donley Marineau Executive Director of Tree Davis. They discussed the history and mission of this non-profit as well as how its founding solved a problem in Davis. They talked about current programs including the community canopy, urban forestry management, memorial grove garden tribute trees and their newest project climate ready landscape. Tree Davis will be celebrating their 30 year anniversary April 30th with a party that includes a bike tree tour, reading of the arbor day proclamation, photographs to view and cake for all.

Jeff Shaw hosts Kyle Parker who is the founder and CEO of ClipDart. He spoke about why ClipDart was started and their mission to improve mental wellness through selfless, mobile hairstylists and barbers. Kyle discussed the launch of their iOS ClipDart app, and the android version coming soon. The app was build by barbers for barbers with trust and safety in mind, and he gave details about how the app works.
