A remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Davis Varsity Theater.

With a theme of  "Equity in Education & STEM - Realizing the Dream!",  Davis Media Access was there to record on January 15, 2018.

Featuring Davis Mayor Robb Davis, UC Davis Ph.D. student Nkechinyere Chidi-Ogbolu, keynote speaker Mariama Gray, dance performances by Afrovibes, the Davis Freedom Singers, and children from the Parents of African-American Children group.

(1) In this episode of the ArchaeoDuck series, Chloe Duckworth takes us to the Roman Villa Borg in Germany, where Roman glass is being reconstructed in replica workshops by master glassblowers from around the world.  (2) Close to the Austrian border in northern Italy, the show’s hostess, Francesca Mazzalei, and Dr. Franco Marzatico explore the prehistory and history of the Alpine region of Trentino.  This is the second of two episodes, featuring ancient copper mining in the Bronze Age and silver mining in the Medieval Period.

Parental Discretion Advised as this play deals with sexual assault. Finding Deborah is a play about Debrah losing herself due to a verbally abusive mother and a sexual abusive uncle. She is in therapy to resolve the issues.
