Update from Our Muralist

March 20, 2009

Jesus Kobe continues to paint murals and advocate for the Oaxacan people. A new website, http://colectivotk.com, highlights the work of Jesus and compadres as they continue to bring attention to events in this region of Southern Mexico. There's a link to the DMA mural in the archives section at this site.

Kate writes occasionally to keep us apprised of unfolding events. Their website is a good link to information about the continued struggle

Getting Involved: The Basics

How to get involved

1 – Attend an orientation: Come in for a monthly public orientation (check out the workshops page for dates). The orientation includes a tour of the facilities, an overview of DMA's services and policies. You may then sign up for membership and video training workshops.

2 – Sign up for membership: This entitles you to get trained in video production, use the media facilities and get your message out to your community!

9/11 Truth Series

There are numerous reasons to believe that the events of September 11, 2001 are misrepresented by the government and the mass media.

The government claims it was a conspiracy. Evidence suggests it was – a government conspiracy. Our wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are both based on the big lie that foreign terrorists attacked the U.S. and blew up the World Trade Center. Three WTC buildings were destroyed using explosives and carefully planned demolition techniques.
