DaVinci Senior Zahra Baxi, a member of the local Girls Who Code Organization, organized and hosted a 'Women in Tech' event at UC Davis on Saturday, October 19, 2019 which included a keynote speech from LeShelle May and a panel discussion with three other guest speakers that included: Nina Amenta (Chair, Department of Computer Science, UC Davis), Donna Davies, (STEM Adviser and Pre-college Consultant), and Sean Glantz (Computer Science Teacher, Da Vinci Charter Academy).
