Highlights from the World Premiere screening of the No Film Film Festival 2: 80's Remake at the Bellows Falls Opera House on June 29, 2013. Highlights include interviews and audience question and answer sessions with the film makers compeeting in this year's contest.

The No Film Film Festival is an international contest that challenges start-up filmmakers to produce a short digital film based on a popular 1980’s movie in just one weeks time. This year eighteen teams from across the country answered the call with only fifteen teams surviving the exhaustive task.

This episode chronicles the efforts of a couple of teams as they write, shoot and edit their entry for this competition. On Saturday, June 29th the films will premiere on the largest screen in southern Vermont at the world renowned Bellows Falls Opera House.

Lin Weaver hosts Christina Reyes, Landscape Architect, and Pat Stoffel, Garden Specialist, of the UC Davis Good Life Garden, an edible garden.

“Working Farm” San Gigmanino, Tuscany, Italy

This painting portrays a small glimpse of a farm and winery that has been in the family since the 1800s. Just outside the arched door sits the wagon made from branches and a huge wine tun ready for tasting.

“Painting Journeys” with Artist, Kitty Lynne Klich, is an intimate journey on canvas to various destinations Ms. Klich has traveled. The one hour program features Ms. Klich painting the location, in oils, as she shares her painting process and tells the viewer about her experiences on that journey.

“Hillside Monastery” Rome, Italy

The warm sun is setting and the hillside is bathed in it’s glow. The colors and textures in this painting come to life with a sense of mystery. Who lives there in the old monastery and what is their story.
