Host Jeff Shaw interviews Erin Donley Marineau Executive Director of Tree Davis. They discussed the history and mission of this non-profit as well as how its founding solved a problem in Davis. They talked about current programs including the community canopy, urban forestry management, memorial grove garden tribute trees and their newest project climate ready landscape. Tree Davis will be celebrating their 30 year anniversary April 30th with a party that includes a bike tree tour, reading of the arbor day proclamation, photographs to view and cake for all.

Kristin Sicke, Executive Officer for the Yolo Subbasin Groundwater Agency, discusses the state of groundwater in Yolo County. Her agency exists because of 2014 legislation enacted by then-California Gov. Jerry Brown, which recognized that groundwater management is best managed locally.
