The tradition of the global Make Music Day is to bring communities together for a day of diverse music-making including all ages and all levels of performance.   In honor of the international “Make Music Day” celebrated across the globe each June 21st on Summer Solstice, we present the “Make Music Davis- DIMI Showcase 2021.”

Autumn Labbe-Renault hosts Dr. Aimee Sisson, Yolo County Health Officer.

Topics discussed include: transitioning out of the pandemic, how tiers will disappear, Health Equity Quartile, status of vaccinations, what has changed in the public health landscape, and what has been learned to prepare for the future.

A celebration of Bob Dunning's unprecedented career at The Davis Enterprise.    In addition to the Virtual Celebration, our vehicle parade (car & bike) took place on Saturday, April 24 at 11 a.m., and was a huge success.

Lois has dedicated her career to Public Service and stewardship of the environment. From Mayor to State Senator, she has been a strong advocate of urban forestry, urban greening and climate change mitigation. As a founding member of Tree Davis in 1993, along with Bob Cordrey and Dick Blanchard, she helped create the public non-profit partnership that still thrives today.

The League of Women Voters Davis Area invites the community to participate in a dialogue regarding racism, equality and inclusivity initiatives in the Davis Area.

The moderated forum begins with a keynote speaker followed by a panel discussion, and concludes with a question and answer period.

The panel is moderated by Komal Hak, LWV Davis Area Director of Communications, Strategy & Marketing.
