Sci-Fi Journal for December 2015 shot live at Rhode Island Comic Con with hosts James Hinsey, Jay Kingston, Marc Morriseau, and Calvin Watts III. We begin in the Rhode Island Convention Center and the Dunkin Donuts Center on Nov. 7, and 8, 2015 for Rhode Island Comic Con. In this episode we travel to Santa Cruz California, and visit the Sustainable food program of UC Santa Cruz. We then travel South down highway 101 to Gilroy for the annual Gilroy Garlic Festival and show you what it takes to feed over 100 thousand people. We then talk with author and historian, Geoffrey Dunn, about Victory Gardens in the USA. "The Secret US Prisons You've Never Heard of Before" (15 minutes)

Investigative journalist Will Potter is the only reporter who has been inside a Communications Management Unit, or CMU, within a US prison. These units were opened secretly, and radically alter how prisoners are treated -- even preventing them from hugging their children.
