Bee-A-Thon Aug. 21

Livening up those aforementioned dog days of summer, this month the Insect News Network and Davis Media Access bring you…bees.

You’re invited you to tune in for the Bee-a-Thon 3 (B.A.T. 3), a free multimedia event that takes intelligent humans everywhere on a deep dive into the microcosm and the wonderful symphony of pollination.

On August 21, 2013, creator and host E. Emmet Brady will open the window to the world of bees, in all the rich and inspired tradition of our co-evolution. Plus that night there will be the BATMAP 3 (Bee-a-Thon Monster After Party) in the back lot behind DMA.

The B.A.T. 3 will offer a one-of-a-kind insight into the people who advocate on their behalf as well. Broadcast on cable TV (DCTV), FM radio (95.7 FM), online and live remote from the Wednesday Farmer's Market, B.A.T. 3 will be an unprecedented collaboration of top bee experts in science, activism, conservation, arts and education.
