Election programming, including candidate statements and a variety of local forums, airs on DCTV Channel 15 on the Comcast system in Davis, PEG Channel 99 on AT&T's U-Verse system, and is also available on demand at http://dctv.davismedia.org. Election content is aggregated and a Channel 15 schedule is also available at this link.
Getting Good Audio with Microphones, Workshop

Davis Media Access will hold an Audio Microphone Workshop to train and educate volunteers on our various audio recording equipment and techniques.
This is a free workshop and apart of Davis Media Access ongoing mission to train the public in local community media.
Volunteers must attend this workshop to gain permission to check out our microphones for your media productions.

I’ve written about media policy for nearly 15 years and can say I sometimes feel jaded. But put the words “state-run” in front of the word media, and I’ll admit surprise.
Field Camera Workshop, Basic

Davis Media Access will hold the Field Camera Workshop for volunteers looking to learn how to properly use our Canon 3 CCD Cameras and to gain permission to check out the cameras for your media productions.
This is a free workshop and apart of Davis Media Access ongoing mission to train the public in local community media.
*You must have attended to a 'General Orientation' and submitted a 'New Volunteer Form' before attending a workshop.
